Just a random survey...
Not any important message or conclusion to be made...
Which one would you prefer/choose?
First, a TV commercial of a black cookie with white cream filling featuring a dancing woman who danced so half-heartedly holding the blue package of the cookie.
Second, TV commercials of yellow giant 'thing' dancing on the front yard, or shooting love arrows (being a cupid) etc...
Third, a TV commercial of a sceptical guy who wore a local made shoes but managed to find a girl wearing the same shoes on a bus.
Before that, let's just take a look back on how our local TV lacks good commercials either to promote products or to support any campaign raised by the government.
I have no intention at all to bring up any offense towards the existing TV commercials nowadays.
But as we can see, they missed out the essence of a good commercial delivery.
We can never afford to lose the feel to watch the commercials of enthusiasm during Merdeka Day, the harmony celebration during Hari Raya, CNY and Deepavali or even a great New Year greeting.
It's been a while since the big loss but I still can't bear the sadness of letting go of the most beloved, one and only precious director such as Yasmin Ahmad. Also for a good friend, Yo @ Shahrul Iman... miss them so badly... =(
